Application requirement
An aluminum-lithium alloy application requested a 100 L grinding-and-screening arrangement with a fine screen, an inert-gas port, enclosed collection and a hazardous-area electrical package. The requirements described a custom configuration.
Proposed equipment approach
The technical proposal removed the screw feed and added a sealed outer enclosure, gas inlet and outlet, pressure-relief provision and the requested electrical modifications. These proposed components do not by themselves establish suitability for a particular reactive powder or operating atmosphere.
Configuration checks
- Confirm material reactivity and the intended operating atmosphere.
- Review gas interfaces, seals and collection as one system.
- Validate the feed method and screen performance with the actual alloy material.
