LABORATORY MILLING

Planetary Ball Mills

Compare compact, horizontal, full-directional and temperature-controlled planetary mills for batch grinding and laboratory materials research.

Start with the sample

Record material composition, feed size, sample mass and the required result. Identify any restrictions on temperature, moisture or wear contamination before comparing equipment.

Compare the complete setup

Read the model-specific table, then match the vessel, media, working load and electrical supply. Larger nominal capacity does not mean the same sample loading ratio across mill types.

Compare a practical starting pair

Semi-Circular Planetary Ball Mill — A vertical planetary mill for preparing small batches of powders and mixtures in the laboratory. The semi-circular design refers to the machine housing, not the shape of the grinding jars.

Vertical Square Planetary Ball Mill — The square-body XQM series combines a central rotating disc with independently rotating jars for batch grinding and mixing. The range includes different capacities, so the housing style alone does not define sample throughput.
