Adjustable inversion in full-directional planetary milling
Application note · Application requirement and proposed configuration. This note does not confirm delivery, commissioning or a validated process result.
Application requirement
A laboratory requested a QXQM-2 with adjustable assembly inversion, a touchscreen pause function, higher jar speed and a clamp arrangement resistant to loosening. Agate and zirconia jars were mentioned in the requirement record.
Proposed equipment approach
The proposed approach involved changes to the inversion transmission, motor and frame, with touchscreen control and provision for the requested clamping arrangement. The requested speed range is an application requirement rather than the specification of every QXQM model.
Configuration checks
- Check the inversion and jar-rotation settings separately.
- Confirm jar compatibility, balancing and clamp access.
- Review pause, restart and access procedures during commissioning.
